MEMBERS COUNCIL
(Mayhem is a members company, for members run by members and as such, the traditional society committee structure was replaced in May 2017 with a new Members Council to support the day to day running of the company.
Company Manager (Kelly-Marie Ridgers)
Acts as the primary spokesman for the company and manages the day to day running of the Members Council. The Company Manger is responsible for the Artistic Direction and longevity of the company and for maintaining consistency and quality across productions as well as overseeing the appointment of production teams.
Finance Manager (George Still)
Manages the company accounts and production budgets, produces annual financial report for NODA and is responsible for all day to day financial activity and ensuring the company is financially stable. The Finance Manager is also responsible for any required venue bookings (meetings, rehearsals and productions), and negotiating such contracts on the society’s behalf.
Production Manager (Matt Bentley)
The designated liaison between the council and all show production teams; developing and monitoring production budgets, managing the company TicketSource account, and overseeing production, set and costume, and publicity schedules. The Production Manager will help to manage the company’s show selection process, maintaining a running list of potential shows and a calendar of milestone dates. In addition, they will be the primary point of contact for NODA, and for any production review/media requests.
Members Reps (Emma Batchelor)
The Members Rep act as a bridge between the members and the council and are primarily tasked with coordinating and promoting member events such as the Mayhem Show-down, social events such as 'Sports Day', fundraisers such as Forfeit Karaoke, and our black-tie awards evening, The Moscars. Additionally, the Members Rep helps to coordinate the Front-of-House teams for all Mayhem productions, oversees the appointment of any fundraising and/or social event subcommittees, is responsible for the collection of show fees and monies owed, and is the named point of contact on the council for all member issues in regards to welfare.
Marketing (Amber Mears-Brown)
The guardian of the Mayhem brand, coordinating company and show specific marketing campaigns, liaising with production teams on publicity plans and schedules, and actively managing the company social accounts. The Marketing rep is also responsible for overseeing the marketing spend for all productions, and maintaining a database of media and advertising contacts.
Communications (Nathaniel Hook)
Manages the distribution of all company and production communications including general company comms, audition notices, press releases, featured articles and production relevant information. Responsible also for maintaining the Mayhem newsletter and audience database and establishing seasonal communications plans with both Marketing and the individual production teams.
Stage & Tech (Stuart Bridge)
Acts as the General Stage Manager for the company, is responsible for health and safety (rehearsals and productions) and is the primary contact for all technical/stage management queries. Stage and Tech also oversees and supports the production stage managers and coordinates lighting, sound and backstage crews, liaising with the production venue tech personnel on behalf of the company.
General Members (Jon Wade & Elinor Morgan Jones)
We are always open to anyone wishing to join the Members Council as a General Member. Providing support and assistance to council members with various tasks and projects throughout the year, General Members are welcome to join at any time, providing an opportunity for people to get involved and learn the ropes without having to take on the commitment of a role for a full year.
