Performance Venue: Cannizaro Park, Wimbledon Macbeth receives a prophecy from three witches that he will become king. Driven by ambition and encouraged by his wife, Lady Macbeth, he assassinates King Duncan and takes the throne. However, the guilt and paranoia that come with their actions soon take a toll on them both. MTC returned to Cannizaro in July for our annual Shakespeare in the park, 2023 marking our 13th annual Shakespeare production! Performed in the round as the sun set, Shakespeare's timeless tragedy truly came to life - the atmospheric Italian Garden filled with witches, ghosts, bloody battles and murder proving to be an unforgettable experience!
